Hespeler Choir

This is from the early 40's. It was a choir put together during the war and all members were from Hespeler. My Mother was in the choir and remembers that they may not have been a great choir but they sure had a lot of fun.

That's a great photo! Which church was it taken in? JH

It was taken at St.Andrew's Presbyterian church on Queen street. My mother thinks was 1n 1944. And thanks for visiting!

Thanks, I like your blog! This was my family's church but we're not aware of any family members singing well enough to be in a choir (no joke). JH

I sang in a school choir at that church.

I love the historic pics you have on your blog!

Jimm, would you consider donating a copy of this picture to the church. I don't think we have it in our archives and it's just beautiful! Please contact me, Adriana, at the church 519-658-2652. I would love to use it in an upcoming newsletter - with your permission of course.
